The firmware version is the same as of the broken Samsung HD204UI. It seems to work fine when I modify the drivedb.h entry of Seagate Barracuda Green (AF) with unknown firmware. Time to pay attention to this firmware update: Nope, my drives were manufactured after december 2010, and after that date, no new firmware was released for these drives. Is reports as Seagate (and is branded as one) but also contains the HD204UI tag from Samsung. Just a fun fact, I have an identical drive in the same NAS, with the same (difference less than 100) number for this SMART Parameter B5, with a raw read error rate of 0. In most cases, you need to transfer the BIOS chip (HDD firmware are usually stored in the BIOS chip) before you swap hard drive PCB, in order to make the donor board compatible with your HDD.
